A Multicultural Wedding in the Heart of Mexico City: Aleta & Robin

Aleta &

Mexico City was the stunning backdrop for a multicultural wedding that combined the elegance of a Catholic ceremony with the richness and tradition of a Hindu celebration. Aleta and Robin, a couple from New York, chose to marry in Mexico due to their love for the country and their unique situation in the world to bring all their family together, creating a memorable event that brought together cultures, families, and traditions in one beautiful setting. We were so happy to be their wedding photographers & cinematographers.

Day 1: Hindu Traditions at Casa Xipe, Coyoacán

The first day of this grand celebration was a full immersion into Hindu traditions: Celebrating the Paa, Vella Thuni, Korandees,Velliku, Mylanchi, Chantham Charth. Casa Xipe, located in the picturesque neighborhood of Coyoacán, was the perfect venue for this colorful and symbolic day. These rituals not only symbolized the union of the couple but also showcased their deep respect for their roots.

The traditional Hindu attire, vibrant colors, and spiritual atmosphere made this day truly unique and unforgettable.

Day 2: Classic Elegance in the Historic Center and Polanco

Finally, the reception and party were held at the impressive Ex Convento de San Hipólito, a colonial gem in the heart of the city. The combination of elegant decor, exquisite floral arrangements, and warm lighting highlighted the historic architecture of the venue, creating a unique ambiance for celebrating with friends and family.
